This has become something of a LPD tradition, and is an event that I first organized before I became superintendent. We have had to resort to “virtual” cruises since COVID, but plan to resume live cruises this fall. For those who have not yet been able to come aboard, the plan is basically for mainlanders and islanders to meet together half way – aboard the BC Ferry. Islanders come over on the 10:15AM ferry from Duke Point, and Mainlanders join them by boarding the 12:45PM ferry from Tsawwassen. We ride to Duke Point together, where the Islanders disembark, and the Mainlanders have some informal time together. It is always a fun and productive day together, and provides a venue to build relationships with our colleagues in ministry. Watch for more details in the weeks ahead!
Mainlander’s please register and arrive by 12 pm.
