We affirm Jonathan’s calling, giftedness, and growing passion to serve and minister to the residents of the downtown Eastside of Vancouver (DTES), those who are least served by our society and churches – the homeless, the poor, those who are caught in various addictive lifestyles.  The purpose of Jon’s ministry is to bring the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ in tangible, concrete, and relational ways to the residents of the DTES and to be a resource person in the area of ministries of justice, compassion, and urban inner-city missions for churches in the LPD and churches outside LPD.

Winsome Games is a unique project combining physical activity and faith. Planning games with and for local organizations helps fill a need in the community, but more importantly creates opportunities for addressing the greatest need, which is reconciliation to God. Personnel from local churches that choose to get involved become the connection to more conventional ministries, which can further support spiritual growth.
