Theme: Such Were Some of Us!
So Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, which presents a powerful picture of Christ’s Church. God takes sin seriously and it has consequences. But there is also Good News. We, once “labelled” by our sin, have now been washed, sanctified and justified through Jesus Christ. Such a wonderful message of hope!
Sadly, the Church today often seems to be in conflict between being “biblical” and being “loving” towards sin, but this need not be.
In our LPD Conference this year, we desire to be better equipped to be biblically loving, and to offer a message of hope to the people surrounding us today. What Christ has done for us, He can do for others too.
Please join us as we learn to be Christ-centred and safe communities for those who also need to experience the power of the Gospel in their lives.
